In late 2003, Triple J announced Vassy as their latest "Unearthed" winner with her track "Cover You in Kisses", which in turn led to a recording deal with the new Fly Music label. "Cover You In Kisses" has gained significant airplay and the accompanying video clip was an instant adds at Channel V, MTV, Video Hits and Rage. You will also find it on the latest Ministry Of Sound "Chillout Sessions" and "Sounds Like Café" compilations.
Vassy, a highly talented singer/songwriter/performer who hails originally from Darwin, was also a recipient of the APRA 2004 Professional Development Award, which has enabled her to travel to the States and Europe where she begun working on her first international release as well as new material for her debut album.
